Hydrotite
Hydrotite is a state-of-the-art hydrophilic waterstop with unmatched durability and watersealing capacity. Comprised of Non-Bentonite, modified chloroprene rubber, Hydrotite expands up to EIGHT TIMES its original volume when exposed to water. This expansion creates an effective compression sealwithin joints of limited movement.

Speed Dowel
Speed Load performs a similar function for expansion joints. Easy to install Speed Load will provide properly aligned dowels for correct load transfer.

Westec’s Plastic expansion board offers numerous advantages over conventional expansion board materials such as asphalt impregnated fiberboard, treated pine or redwood.

The board is available in 3/4" width for 6" and 8" paving and 1/2" width for variable depths (4' x 8' sheets).

One of the most critical areas in the waterstop installation are the field welded joints. Greenstreak Group Splicing Irons are specifically designed for welding thermoplastic waterstop and are constructed of the highest quality components for superior and long lasting performance.
The temperature control is adjustable from 250°F to 500°F for various conditions and products. The 213 Iron has an embedded thermometer that displays the plate temperature for accurate welding.

Epoxies, Sealants and Adhesives

Westec has a number of epoxies, adhesives and sealants to supplement the TPER waterstops. Each material has been selected for optimal performance with the Westec waterstops and liners. For chemical applications, the 151 Novolac Epoxy provides a durable and very chemical resistant base for the bolt on retrofit applications and some liner repair details. The epoxy 7300 is an economical alternative in less aggressive chemical environments. The Westec Tuff Guard Liner Adhesive secures the TPER liner to concrete surfaces for proper placement and reduces trip hazards compared to loose laid liners.
If you’re looking for a joint sealant, consider instead the EB Cap Seal. This patented waterstop eliminates the need for flexible joint seals as well as split formwork.
